About the position:

As a valued member of the team, the Food Service Worker will serve food, dishwash, and other related duties. They are also responsible to aid with food preparation under the cook's direction

Wage:

Non-Certified - $17.22 - 18.51
Certified - $18.06 - 21.91

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to relate, communicate and co-operate effectively with staff, residents, residents’ families, and the public
  • Knowledge of basic nutrition and special diet needs of individual residents
  • Able to operate kitchen utensils and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Able to work in an environment that is subject to temperature change
  • Able to tolerate standing and lifting throughout the workday
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be open to new knowledge and changes in the healthcare and food service fields
  • Must be able to exhibit maturity, good judgment, and flexibility
  • Possess physical and mental capabilities to provide quality resident care
  • Must show genuine concern for the elderly
